There are 100's of skilled workers employed at various units of Dinesh Umbrella situated at Chalad, Thalassery,Payyannur and Palayad in Kannur District. Majority of them are dependence of beedi workers. The No. of umbrellas produced has risen from 5,000 in the year 2000 to – 1.5 lakhs in 2014. It is expected a 30% enhancement in production when the 4th unit at Palayad begins the operation. The Dinesh products are manufactured with no compromise over quality. All the Dinesh products are manufactured under the international standards of industry act and made available to the customers at affordable prices, which is the main objective of the Dinesh group.
